Mr. Jason L. Parrish is a co-owner and the Senior Project Manager at Smith, Parrish, & Atkins Resource Consultants, LLC. He is a member of the Register of Professional Archeologist (2003). Mr. Parrish received his B.A in Anthropology from Mississippi State University (2003); and his M.A. in Applied Anthropology with a concentration in Southeastern Archaeology from Mississippi State University (2006).

Mr. Parrish has worked in archaeology for more than 17 years beginning as a field tech for a Cultural Resource Management firm while working on his B.A. He has experience working in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Mr. Parrish has five years of experience in Laboratory and Collections Management.

Mr. Parrish has worked in Cultural Resources Management and Consulting for more than 15 years. He meets or exceeds the minimum qualifications for a professional archeologist as defined in Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 1, Subchapter A.102 of the Louisiana Administrative Code and the Archeologist Qualifications as published in the Louisiana Register on April 20, 1994, and the standards of the professional guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Interior. Mr. Parrish has authored and/or co-authored over 100 cultural resource reports.
