EYLENE L. ECHAZABAL PARRISH  

GIS SPECIALIST  & ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

 

 

Mrs. Eylene Parrish is a co-owner, GIS Specialist, and Assistant Project Manager of SPARC, LLC.  She is a member of the Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honor Society.  Mrs. Parrish received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Mississippi State University (MSU) in 2006. 

While studying at MSU, she served as an archaeological field technician on several excavations in Lincoln and Oktibbeha counties, Mississippi.  She also served as Archaeology Lab Technician at the Cobb Institute of Archaeology, located on MSU’s campus, where she washed, sorted, cataloged, and inventoried archaeological artifacts.  While her time at MSU, she was introduced to geographic information system (GIS) software such as ESRI ArcGIS.  

Mrs. Parrish began working in Cultural Resource Management in 2006.  She has experience working on numerous Phase I archaeological surveys in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, Phase II investigations in Louisiana and Texas, and Phase III investigations in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Ms. Parrish has nine years of experience as a GIS Specialist and has co-authored more than 50 technical reports.
